  • A small day pack, rubber boots, hiking shoes, waterproof clothing, warm clothing, warm layers, camera, sun glasses, gloves, a warm hat, toiletries and a bathing suit.

    Be sure to pack all your belongings in a duffel bag or similar. Suitcases take up a lot of space and are difficult to stow away.

  • No, however we are more than happy to assist with ski rental prior to your voyage. Make sure to contact us well ahead of your scheduled departure.

  • Yes, there is a big chance of seeing wildlife. In Norway you can see animals such as orcas, humpback whales and fin whales during the late autumn and early winter seasons. Porpoise may be spotted near the coast of Norway.

    On Svalbard, you may see Arctic foxes, polar bears, walruses, reindeer, puffins, fulmars and other birds. In the summer season, fin whales, blue whales, belugas, and humpback whales can be spotted during our voyage.

    The animals we see are wild and therefore unpredictable. There might be days were we do not see any wildlife at all.

  • Yes, there is! You are welcome to charge your camera, phone, or other devices you take on board. If you have a little chat with one of our crew members, you can even use your hairdryer.

  • Enquire about a private cabin when you make your booking with us. We are happy to assist you in any way we can.

  • To get to the harbour in Tromsø hail a taxi or catch bus 42. Get off at bus stop “Sjøgata” which is only a 2-minute walk from the harbour.

    In Longyearbyen a taxi or the airport bus are both quick ways of getting into town. Jump off at the first stop,”Harbour”. You will see the sailing boats from your stop.

  • No, linen and towels are provided on board.

  • There is Wi-Fi on our voyages on the mainland of Norway. On Svalbard however, you will only have Wi-Fi connection in Longyearbyen and parts of the Isfjord (usually on the first and last days of your voyage).
